- The most important thing to know about me is that I love being a mom!
- I grew up in South Jordan, Utah. 2 sisters+3 brothers+2 step-sisters+2 step-brothers+in-laws+30 nieces & nephews= one giant family with lots of love to go around!
- I always have my toe nails painted. Usually pink.
- I would wear pajamas all day if I could.
- I love reality TV. "Wipeout" brings out my crazy laugh!
- I like to use exclamation points!!!!!!!!!! Jack always tells me I don't need them. But I do!
- I am the spider/bug killer at our house.
- I love to read. But I'm usually interrupted by a certain 4 year old...
- I teach Preschool! This is my favorite room in our house.
- I dabble in photography. Jack and I make a good team. I take the pictures, he edits them. (This is Jack's brother's family)
- I love to be crafty and make cute things for our house.
- I love to sing...but don't ask me to sing for you.
- I'm a candyaholic. There, I admitted it.
- My worst habit is chewing ice.
THOUGHTS ON ADOPTION
I truly feel that it will bring our family so close. All three of us are so excited to take care of a new baby. I know the spirit in our house is going to change with a sweet little newborn. We will be more patient, more kind and loving, and we will be bonded by our efforts to raise another child. I know birth parents don't place their babies so that they'll get to have an easier life...in fact, their lives are probably going to be much, much harder. But they love that baby enough to give it what they can't. And as a mother, I hope I would have the courage to do the same thing.
