GROWING UP
I am the youngest of 4 kids. My family is currently spread out...my dad lives in Costa Rica, my mom lives in Florida, my sister and her family are in Alaska, and my other 2 siblings are in Utah. When I was little my family lived overseas in Saudi Arabia. While living there I have many memories of visiting Cyprus, Egypt, China, Switzerland, and Kenya. I grew up in South Jordan, Utah where I eventually met Michelle in high school.

BEING A DAD
I love being a dad. By nature I am a person who loves to teach and explain. Being a dad gives opportunities everyday to teach Logan. From newborn to 4 year old, I've loved everything about parenting. I do, of course, have my frustrated days but even then I enjoy learning from our experiences.

THOUGHTS ON ADOPTION
Adoption is such an amazing thing. The ability to give someone a gift so great as a child is remarkable to me. I know from first hand experiences that adoptive families have so much love for each other and I'm so excited for it to happen to me. Birth parents are so courageous for the choice they make to place their child for adoption. I highly admire birth mothers for the sacrifice they are making. I can't begin to comprehend how emotionally draining, stressful, painful, upsetting, and lonely the process is, but I know that birth parents are doing the right thing giving their child a chance at a better life with adoptive parents who will love and support them. I'm so excited to meet birth parents and get to know them. I can't wait to hear their stories and learn what they are going through.
